A tricycle driver could lose his license after he allowed a 16-year-old boy to hang on the back of his tricycle while without underwear. According to the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the driver's hearing is set for June 25, 10 a.m.
Atty. Greg Pua Jr., executive director of the LTO, said it was unacceptable that the driver allowed the naked teenager on a long trip. He said the driver could not say he did not see it because the teenager was right next to him.
There is a possibility of revoking the driver's license if it is proven that he is not responsible for his duties as a public driver. A video has been circulating on social media where the young man can be seen dancing and naked while hanging from a tricycle on Sumulong Highway, Antipolo.
The police have located the driver and the teenager. According to PLtCol. Mark Henry Garcia, the teenager was just having a trip. He was not drunk or under the influence of drugs, based on their investigation.
The DSWD is now with the minor, while the driver is still being investigated for liability. He may face a grave scandal case.
