The body of a man identified as Christian, a resident of Brgy. Estefania, was found in a grassy area of Brgy. Alangilan, Bacolod City, on the morning of June 9. According to the report, the person who found the body was Ramiro Regalado, who initially thought he saw only trash.
The victim was bound with his hands and feet, and his mouth was covered, according to Police Major Mark Joel Reklamado of Police Station 5. Another surprising detail is the sign placed near the body.
The sign reads: "Winston Bawang, you are a pusher." Because of this, authorities are looking into the possibility that this is connected to illegal drugs or could be a vigilante-style incident.
The police believe that the victim was possibly killed somewhere else and the body was dumped here. They are also contacting Christian's family to find out the victim's background and determine the motive behind the crime.
The investigation is ongoing and the police are calling on the public to immediately report any information they may have. This is one of a series of cases in Bacolod that are causing fear in the community.
