A passenger bus crashed into several concrete barriers on EDSA southbound, in the Mandaluyong section, early Tuesday, June 10. According to the Barangay Highway Hills patrol, a rider approached and asked for help after seeing the incident.
The left front of the bus was damaged, but fortunately none of its five passengers were injured. According to the initial investigation by the Mandaluyong Traffic Bureau, a possible mechanical error caused the collision.
The driver was not charged, as the bus company itself was responsible for repairing the damaged barriers. By 3 a.m., the bus was removed and brought to the traffic bureau for further investigation.
