Famous sneaker designer and vintage collector Sean Wotherspoon has collaborated with Zellerfeld for a new collection of 3D-printed shoes. Called the Sean Double U, it comes in two designs: a sneaker for active movement and a mule for comfortable lounging.
Both are made from a recyclable material, with no glue or stitching used in production. Additionally, each pair is custom-fitted using a simple foot scan to ensure a perfect fit for each buyer's foot.
According to Wotherspoon, they have the freedom to design whatever they want and the process from idea to prototype is fast, which opens up new opportunities for designers.
The price of the Sean Double U Sneaker is $189 USD while the Sean Double U Mule is $149 USD. It is available online and is only made when the customer orders it.
