Kapuso star Alden Richards made his directorial debut with the film “Out of Order.” Aside from directing, he also stars in this film, which was produced through his production company Myriad, in partnership with Viva Films.
Alden is joined in the film by veteran actors Nonie Buencamino and Heaven Peralejo. They are also joined by Soliman Cruz, Nicco Manalo, Joyce Ching, and Andrea del Rosario. Francine Garcia and Yayo Aguila also make special appearances.
“Out of Order” is scheduled to have its world premiere at the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam from June 29 to July 5. According to Alden, it will compete in other international film festivals before being released on Netflix. Viva executive Vincent del Rosario also praised Alden’s talent as a director and actor.
In his experience as a director, Alden shared that Viva gave them full control over the making of the film—from the script to choosing the cast and shooting locations. Heaven Peralejo was chosen as a partner because of her dedication, such as her personal immersion in the San Juan Hall of Justice before they even started shooting. These are the kind of artists who are really serious about their work.
