David and Katie are newlyweds and happily starting life in their home in Atlanta. Because of David's long work hours, he agreed to get a dog so Katie would have company while she was home alone. Bailey, their Australian Shepherd, quickly became their favorite.
Katie and Bailey quickly became close, and she always accompanied him wherever he went. But David noticed that Katie always took Bailey with her, even in strange places, like the shower! He wondered why the dog had to be taken into the bathroom.
Out of curiosity, David set up a camera to see what was going on while he was away. One day, he heard Katie's voice in the shower—it seemed like she was talking to someone. When he asked Katie about it, she said she was just talking to Bailey because she felt safer with the dog.
David laughed at Katie's answer, but he couldn't help but wonder if there was another reason. He noticed that Bailey seemed to be with Katie all the time and sometimes she seemed to move away from him slightly. He worried that his wife might be getting too attached to the dog.
To ensure the family's security, David added a doorbell camera to the house to monitor Katie and Bailey's movements. He noticed that Katie sometimes went out with Bailey, unexpectedly, in the middle of the day.
Full of questions, David confronted Katie and talked about what was going on. They laughed when they learned that Bailey was Katie's biggest companion on a daily basis, and they were so happy that their husband and dog had such special company.
In the end, they realize that even though some of their actions are funny and strange, what's important is that they love each other and have a happy family with their dog, Bailey.
