Two sari-sari stores in Barangay Valladolid, Carcar City, Cebu were gutted by fire this morning, May 20, at around 6:00 a.m.
According to the Carcar City Fire Station, the fire was raised to first alarm but was quickly extinguished and declared fire out at 6:12 a.m.
Total property damage is estimated at P81,000. At this time, the investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
The incident occurred on Diversion Road, Padre Paking Street. No injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident.
