The Digital Pinoys are calling on Filipino voters not to elect candidates with connections to POGOs (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) as the elections approach. According to them, POGO operations are involved in crimes such as human trafficking, money laundering, and cyber fraud, which endanger public safety and governance.
Unfortunately, there are some candidates who have been reportedly involved in or supported by POGO activities. Selecting candidates with such connections risks spreading corruption and criminal enterprises within our institutions.
For the future of our democracy, we need leaders who are honest, concerned with justice, and truly public service. Do not allow such candidates to enter government and undermine our principles.
