A fugitive American wanted in the United States for the abduction and rape of a 12-year-old child was arrested by personnel of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in Cavite. According to Commissioner Joel Anthony M. Viado, the arrested person is Young Tom Talmadge, who was caught by the Fugitive Search Unit (BI-FSU).
Viado ordered Talmadge's arrest after receiving information from US Homeland Security Investigations (US-HSI). The BI is continuing to coordinate with international agencies to protect Filipino children and promote justice.
Talmadge has an arrest warrant issued on March 20, 2025 by the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Hillsborough County, Florida. The suspect's victim is a 12-year-old girl.
Talmadge is currently detained at the BI detention facility in Taguig City, awaiting his deportation back to the United States.
