Starbucks Japan has once again introduced a unique innovation to its menu with the Caramel Melts Frappuccino, a dessert-inspired drink launched exclusively at select locations in Tokyo. Instead of the usual syrup, real food ingredients are directly incorporated into the drink, providing a more deep and textured coffee experience for those who love something new and different.
The Caramel Melts Frappuccino is designed like a layered dessert. At the very bottom, caramel popcorn soaked in espresso serves as the base, combining the strength of the coffee with the sweetness of the snack. It's topped with popcorn-flavored whipped cream, caramel sauce, and a salted pretzel, creating a balanced blend of sweet and salty in every sip.
The limited collection also includes a hot Caramel Melts Latte, with fragrant popcorn notes, and the Opera Frappuccino, inspired by the classic opera cake with almond milk and chocolate. The entire Caramel Melts collection is currently only available at Starbucks Reserve Cafe in Shinjuku, further increasing its exclusivity and appeal to coffee and lifestyle enthusiasts.
