
The movie ‘Weapons’ will officially be available to watch on HBO Max starting October 24. It’s a new thriller from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures that’s perfect for Halloween. After its streaming premiere, it will also be aired on the HBO channel on October 25, 8:00 p.m. ET (8 p.m. in the US), which is equivalent to dawn here in the Philippines.
Zach Cregger, known for making horror-comedy films, wrote and directed the film. He is also one of the producers along with Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules. The story revolves around a mysterious incident in which almost all the children from a class suddenly disappear at the same time, at exactly 2:17 a.m. The entire community is left confused and desperately searching for answers.
The cast includes veteran actor Josh Brolin, who also serves as an executive producer. He will be joined by Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, and Austin Abrams. The film also features Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan, adding weight to the ensemble cast.
