The long-awaited OVO Fest is officially back this year, and it's even more special because Drake will bring Vybz Kartel to Toronto for the first time.
The OVO Fest will be held on October 26 and 27, coinciding with The Boy's birthday celebration. As of now, no other performers have been announced, but fans are eagerly awaiting ticket sales.
In his Instagram announcement, Drake said: “@vybzkartel DI TEACHA LIVE IN TORONTO FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER CHAMPAGNE BDAY CELEBRATIONS.” Meaning, it's going to be a big homecoming celebration for him.
After the post, Drake joked on his IG Stories, where he said his cousins are starting to tease him for free tickets. There's no official price or date for the tickets to go on sale yet, but they're sure to sell out quickly.
The return of OVO Fest has also been awaited for three years, and is now expected to be filled with energy, dancehall vibes, and excitement from thousands of fans who will be coming to Toronto.
