
A 30-year-old Chinese national was robbed at gunpoint in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City on August 8. According to a police report, four suspects riding a motorcycle stole a Rolex watch worth P1 million and a Tiffany necklace worth P164,000.
The incident occurred at Forbes Town Road, 26th Street in BGC. After the crime, the suspects quickly left on their motorcycles.
Police have warned pawnshops, jewelry buyers, and the public not to accept or purchase stolen goods as this is against the law. According to the Anti-Trafficking of Stolen Goods Act (PD 1612), violators face severe penalties such as imprisonment and suspension of business licenses.
Police encourage anyone with information about the suspects or the stolen jewelry to contact the Taguig Police Station immediately.
