Ducati paid tribute to the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello with a special design inspired by the Renaissance. The new Desmosedici GP bikes and racing suits have a design inspired by the creations of Leonardo da Vinci and Niccolò Machiavelli — famous personalities in the 14th to 16th centuries.
The design combines art, science, and technology. It features da Vinci's drawing “Ancient Captain” and Machiavelli's famous quote from The Prince. It says: “A leader should be like a lion to scare away the wolf and like a fox to avoid the trap.”

To bring to life the idea of the “modern-day knight,” Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez are featured as the faces of the campaign. The lion and fox can be seen in the new livery, and even their racing numbers 63 and 93 are designed to look like pieces of armor.

The campaign was shot in Florence, the so-called “cradle of the Renaissance.” It features iconic locations such as the Stibbert Museum, Piazza della Signoria, and Palazzo Vecchio — all showcasing the beauty of art and design.
