The body of Raymond Cabrera, a TNVS driver who went missing on May 18, was found in Barangay Batitang, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija. According to the NBI, Cabrera was last seen alive after picking up a passenger near a casino hotel in Parañaque City.
Three men surrendered to authorities on Thursday and admitted to being responsible for the stab of Cabrera. One of them cried and asked for forgiveness, saying he regretted what he had done.
Two of the suspects pointed to the location where they threw the victim's body. According to the investigation, this led to the discovery of the body.
JoyRide is now cooperating with authorities to investigate the case. Additional evidence is also being collected for the suspects.
Raymond's family is calling for justice as his funeral and burial are being arranged.
