A 48-year-old man was arrested after allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at the CR of a gas station in Barangay Concepcion Uno, Marikina City on Tuesday night. According to the Marikina Police, they saw a child outside the bathroom while they were on patrol around 10:30 p.m. When questioned, the child said he was waiting for his sister inside the CR.
Later, a man came out of the women's CR, followed by the girl. This is when the police became suspicious and spoke to the girl. According to the girl, the suspect kissed her and touched her. After the incident, the man allegedly gave her P150. The suspect, who works at the gas station's convenience store, was immediately arrested.
The man denied the accusation and said he was just shaving inside the CR because it was cooler. He also said he had known the boy for a long time and that he often asked for money. The victim was subjected to medico-legal and will undergo counseling. The suspect is now in custody and will face a case of statutory rape.
