Honkon, a young music producer in Japan, saved up for 10 years to buy his dream Ferrari 458 Spider. A huge achievement for him, especially since he is signed to Chocorabi, a Japanese idol group. Finally, his dream has come true. But, in an unexpected turn of events, he only got to enjoy a few minutes of witnessing his burning Ferrari.
While test driving on the Shuto Expressway, Tokyo on April 16, 2025, Honkon noticed white smoke coming from his car. At first, he thought it might be from another car, but as the smoke got stronger, he realized that his Ferrari was the problem. He immediately stopped, got out of the car, and called the fire department. Within 20 minutes, his dream Ferrari was gone.
In his post on X, Honkon shared a photo of his burnt Ferrari and said, "I spent 43 million yen and all I got was this photo." That amount rings up at PHP17,312,402.30. Honkon said he might be the only person in Japan who has experienced such a setback. But despite all this, he is grateful that he was not injured and that nothing worse happened.
