A tragedy befell a doctor who was killed by a man he met in Barangay Pasong Putik, Quezon City on April 18. The incident resulted in the victim being stabbed until he lost his life.
According to the Quezon City Police District - Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU), they immediately arrested the suspect after the victim's dashcam captured the entire incident. The footage from the dashcam served as evidence to trace the man's location.
It was learned that the doctor and the man met after chatting online. But instead of a normal meeting, it led to violence. The victim's identity has not been released while the suspect's motive is still being investigated.
The victim sustained several stab wounds to the body which caused his death. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. It is estimated that the damage to the doctor's personal belongings lost in the incident will reach ₱50,000.
The suspect is currently in custody and will face a murder case. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine if he has other accomplices or if there are other victims.
