The suspect in the killing of seven bakers in Antipolo on April 22 has been arrested. According to PCol. Felipe Maraggun, director of the Rizal Police Provincial Office, the suspect is a business partner of the victims and a relative of one of the bakers. The suspect, alias “Bogart,” confessed to killing the victims after hearing his partner’s plan to kill him with a pillow and pass it off as an accident.
Alias “Bogart” said that when he heard that he was about to be released, he took the opportunity and grabbed a knife. He did not hesitate to stab his partner and his workers. At present, the investigation into the motive for the crime is still ongoing.
The suspect, who is now in the custody of the Antipolo Police, faces seven counts of murder.
