Ahead of the release of the movie Hurry Up Tomorrow, The Weeknd has released a new music video for his song "Drive." It's from his sixth studio album, which also shares the same name as the movie.
The video is directed by Trey Edward Shults, the same director of the movie. It stars Jenna Ortega, who also has a major role in the film. In the music video, the two of them are seen on a Ferris wheel at a neon carnival, then Jenna goes solo on a scenic drive from morning to night.
There's a quick cut to the last part of the video — a rather creepy scene where Weeknd is seen sleeping in a bathtub.
The album Hurry Up Tomorrow was released in January and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The movie version will be released on May 16.
The film also stars Barry Keoghan. It's the story of a musician with insomnia (played by Weeknd) who meets Jenna's character. A unique journey begins that will change his life.
