A suspect was killed and four PDEA operatives were injured after a buy-bust operation in Brgy. San Antonio, Parañaque on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the operation took place inside a subdivision around 5PM, but it ended in a shootout.
Marvin Mendoza, PDEA-NCR District Officer, said that when they entered the house, they were suddenly shot at, forcing them to return fire. One of the suspects was killed.
Three more of the suspect group were arrested while the wounded PDEA agents were immediately taken to the hospital.
An estimated 4 kilos of shabu were seized in the operation. PDEA plans to conduct follow-up operations for the others involved.
