A major fire broke out this Monday morning at a junk shop and residential area in Barangay Namayan, Mandaluyong City. Unfortunately, a 3-year-old child died in the incident.
According to the report, the fire started in a grill and quickly spread to the adjacent junk shop and surrounding houses. Firefighters are continuing to extinguish the fire to prevent it from spreading to other establishments.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated, while the situation of affected residents continues to be monitored.
