STA. CRUZ, LAGUNA – Sad news has engulfed the Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) Sta. Cruz Main Campus after the College of Teacher Education and College of Arts and Sciences caught fire this morning at around 12:50 PM.
Firefighters responded immediately and declared the fire out before 7 PM.
While the incident was still being investigated, the body of a woman was found in the comfort room of the CAS Building. Authorities and the victim's family confirmed that she is Trisha Macalagay, the Miss Laguna Tourism Paete 2022.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire and other important details about the incident.
