A teenager from India named Lalit Patidar, 18, has set a Guinness World Record for the hairiest face. He has 201.72 hairs per centimeter, which means more than 95% of his face is covered with hair.
Patidar has a very rare condition called hypertrichosis, also known as werewolf syndrome, which causes abnormal body hair growth. Worldwide, there are only about 50 cases of this condition that have been recorded since the Middle Ages.
Although this brought negative reactions from others — like strangers staring at him and kids being scared when they first saw him at school — Patidar learned to accept himself. "When they got to know me, they understood that I wasn't different from them. I was different on the outside, but not on the inside," he says.
Upon accepting his identity, he began vlogging about his life on YouTube. As his popularity grew, he was invited to the Italian TV show Lo Show dei Record, where the thickness of his facial hair was measured to officially capture the Guinness World Record.

After receiving the title, Patidar happily said, "I don't know what to say because I'm so happy with this recognition.Despite this, some still told her to remove her facial hair. But Patidar firmly replied, "I'm happy with the way I look and I don't want to change it."
