Meralco announced a temporary brownout in several areas in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Quezon, and Cavite due to power upgrade, line replacement, and installation of a new pole.
Affected Areas and Schedule:
- Valenzuela City (Malinta) – Feb 24, 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Power upgrade and pole installation)
- Quezon City (Novaliches) – Feb 26-27, 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Palit poste)
- Parañaque City (Don Bosco) – Feb 26-27, 11:30 PM - 4:30 AM (Alternate lines and poles)
- San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan (Muzon) – Feb 24, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Palit poste at linya)
- Sariaya, Quezon – Feb 24, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Replacement of poles, lines, and power upgrades)
- Antipolo, Rizal – Feb 27, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Change post and line)
