KOTOBUKIYA, a well-known Japanese toy company, will launch a new product to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" trading card game. The new product will be a 1/7 scale painted figure of "Skyblade Maiden - Kagari" from the popular "Skyblade Maiden" deck series.
It will be available for pre-order at HaiMa Group’s "Yu-Gi-Oh!" themed online store and on the official KOTOBUKIYA website. The estimated price is 36,800 yen, and it is expected to be released in June 2025!
The "Skyblade Maiden" deck first appeared in the "Deck Build Pack: Dark Savers" in the OCG (Official Card Game) and is known for its use of numerous magic cards, beautiful artwork, and ever-changing tactics, making it popular among players. It also paved the way for the main character in the first chapter of the manga "Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories," which began in 2022.
Following the previous figures of "Skyblade Maiden - Rei" and "Skyblade Maiden - Roze," the "Skyblade Maiden - Kagari" 1/7 scale figure stands at approximately 40 cm tall and is based on an alternative illustration of the character. The figure portrays Kagari in "destruction mode," featuring a dynamic action pose with intricate details of flames surrounding her armor and sword, bringing the overall design to life.
The orange-red gradient paint highlights a warm aura, and the figure exudes a much stronger presence compared to the previous characters, Rei and Roze!
