Malacañang is considering filing legal action over the spread of a fake medical report allegedly referring to the health of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.. The document quickly spread on online platforms, causing confusion and fear among the public.

According to the Presidential Communications Office, the said document is illegitimate and unfounded in any official medical examination of the President. The agency emphasized that the false information is not only misleading but also a violation of the President's right to privacy.

The Palace added that the deliberate dissemination of falsified medical information causes unnecessary alarm and destroys public trust in institutions. For this reason, possible legal action against those behind the false report is being carefully examined.

A private hospital also confirmed that the circulating document was unauthorized and in violation of its strict policy of patient confidentiality and data privacy. Any document released without authorization is considered fraudulent or falsified.

Malacañang strongly clarified that the President is in good health, fully performing his duties, and continues to be active in official activities. The public was encouraged to rely only on official statements and to avoid spreading unverified and destructive content.
