Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has been recommended for deportation from the Philippines after he served his sentences in his cases. He is known for his online prank and stunt videos that have caused public disturbance.
According to Bureau of Immigration (BI) Legal Division Chief Alvin Cesar Santos, the BI Board of Commissioners has issued the official deportation order for Zdorovetskiy. “His cases at the Taguig RTC have also been resolved and his penalty there is deemed served. So he can be deported soon,” Santos explained.
Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla clarified that although Zdorovetskiy has a US green card, he remains a Russian citizen. “His passport is from Russia, so the deportation process is from there,” Remulla added.
Once the documents for the escort are complete, Zdorovetskiy is expected to fly from Kalibo, Aklan to Moscow, Russia. Remulla also advised all visitors to the Philippines: respect local laws and regulations while in the country.
Zdorovetskiy's deportation stemmed from complaints against him for causing a nuisance and negative impact on the public due to his videos. After the court's decision and the serving of penalties, there was a clear path for deportation proceedings.
