The suspect in the shooting death of a father and his 6-year-old son in Nasugbu has been arrested.
According to a report from the Nasugbu Municipal Police Station, police interviewed another family member who survived the incident and is currently recovering in the hospital.
Police said the victim identified the gunman, who allegedly fired at them repeatedly with a rifle while riding a tricycle. According to the witness, the suspect was accompanied by two others who have not yet been identified.
Police added that the investigation revealed that the suspect was the victim's former neighbor and had a long-standing feud with his father, which is a possible motive for the crime.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the municipal police and is facing charges of double murder, frustrated murder, and attempted murder. The search for the two remaining suspects is ongoing.
