A. Lange & Söhne has introduced the new Lange 1 Daymatic made from their special HONEYGOLD® alloy. It is limited to 250 pieces and features a unique combination of honey gold case and brown silver dial for a more elegant look. The hours and minutes are on the right, while the sub-seconds and outsize date are on the left.
It has a retrograde day-of-week display that replaces the usual power reserve indicator. Its 39.5mm and 10.4mm thickness provide a balanced form, with new lugs and bezel that are lighter and more refined in appearance. The design is completed by a taupe alligator strap with a honey gold buckle.
It is powered by the Calibre L021.1, a self-winding movement known for its precise mechanics and high craftsmanship. It has a 21-carat gold rotor with a platinum mass for efficient winding and a 50-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal back reveals details such as hand-engraved balance cock, Glashütte ribbing, and gold chatons.
The Lange 1 Daymatic HONEYGOLD® was released on December 7, commemorating the founding of Glashütte watchmaking by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in 1845 and the return of the brand to the leadership of Walter Lange in 1990.
