
Aprilia has entered the midsize scooter segment after launching the SR GT 400 at the EICMA 2025 in Milan. This model aims to be reliable for city riding as well as adventure trips.
According to Aprilia, the SR GT 400 is built using their racing expertise, so it is designed for riders who want style, performance, and freedom in their daily commute. It measures 2,165 x 855 x 1,535 mm and has a 12-liter fuel tank.
It is equipped with a 400cc single-cylinder engine mated to a CVT, capable of producing nearly 36hp, providing quick and responsive acceleration. Weighing in at 186 kg, it is lighter than others in its class. It also has 16-inch front wheel, 14-inch rear wheel, upside-down front fork, and dual rear shocks. For safety, it has floating front disc brakes, radial calipers, and two-level traction control.
Features include 5-inch TFT display, keyless system, ABS, five-level windscreen, plastic knuckle guards, and a large underseat compartment that fits a full-face helmet.
In the Philippines, only the SR GT 200 is on sale, starting at ₱248,000. It has a 174cc i-Get engine, Start & Stop system, and a maximum output of 17.3 hp and 16.5 Nm. It is available in Standard, Sport, and Replica variants.
