Kapamilya actress AC Bonifacio is very grateful even though she had to avoid the K-pop thriller ‘Perfect Girl’ after a motorcycle accident in Bangkok, Thailand. She suffered a fracture in her right shoulder while returning home from the weekend market.
“We just slipped on the motorcycle, it wasn't serious, but my arm was hurt. If I hadn't blocked it, it would have been worse,” AC told ABS-CBN News. After medical tests and surgery, it was determined that his humerus was cleanly broken, a unique situation for him.
On Instagram, AC shared his experience and gratitude to the cast and production team. “I am blessed to have been chosen to be part of an international film with a powerhouse all-Asian cast,” he said. But he also admitted, “Life doesn't always go according to plan. Freak accidents happen.”
He praised the support of his new “family” on the project, from the co-stars who took care of him and checked in on him, to the memorable moments with them. “I’m grateful for each and every one of them. My journey here never ends,” he added, joking about ‘one-arm dance trends’.
Despite the accident, AC remained positive and vowed to continue with his career and not give up. “Everything happens for a reason. I love you guys, thank you for everything,” he concluded.
