The new HG Gekiryujin model kit from Bandai Spirits has been officially announced. Priced at 7,150 yen and due out in February 2026, it features the famous robot from the anime Yuusha-Oh GaoGaiGar.
The Gekiryujin robot is a combination of FuuRyu (Wind Dragon) and RaiRyu (Thunder Dragon). When combine, they can perform a powerful attack called Double Dragon, known as one of the most strongest robots in the story.
This model kit uses new molds, multi-color parts, transparent parts, and stickers to show the details of FuuRyu and RaiRyu. It also includes a mixing machine, electromagnetic truck, and electromagnetic gun. They can transform from robot mode to cement mixer and dump truck using special conversion parts.
When the two robots are combined, the Gekiryujin is formed with wide articulation, making it easy to create action poses similar to the anime. When combined with the separately purchased HG Chouryujin, Genryujin and Gouryujin can also be built to complete four dragon robots.
The HG Gekiryujin is sure to be a great addition to the collection of fans of the Yuusha series and model kit builders!
