BAPE® and Bandai Namco have launched four exclusive Gundam statues in preparation for Bandai Namco Carnival 2025. The giant statues have special designs from BAPE®, AAPE, BABY MILO®, and APEE, combining mecha style and streetwear looks.
For the first public display, four large Gundam statues were placed at the Shanghai West Bund Dream Center. This setup was designed to create hype before the start of Carnival 2025. The fusion of Gundam mecha history and streetwear culture is sure to please fans.
Each statue has unique details and colors based on the well-known styles of each BAPE brand line. This collaboration clearly demonstrates the strength of global street fashion and anime heritage in one large project.
The size and design of the statues resemble an art show—mixing fashion, pop culture, and sci-fi icons into one event. For Gundam and BAPE fans, this is a rare chance to see a new version of the classic Mobile Suit.
This project is not just a display, but a grand celebration of creative partnership. With the Japanese version of the merch pricing (e.g. 20,000 JPY ≈ ₱7,400), it is expected that future releases will also potentially arrive in Asian markets.
