The Ferrari SC40 is a special model built from the 296 GTB and given a design inspired by the legendary F40. It is a one-off project for a private client and shows how Ferrari's classic look and modern technology are combined.
On the engine, it carries a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine and an electric motor. The V6 has 654 hp, while the electric motor provides additional power to reach a total of 819 hp. If converted, this is almost ₱46.7 million worth of power (based on the price of a Ferrari 296 GTB which is around $342,000 or approximately ₱19.7 million).
In terms of design, the long and aggressive nose and the towering fixed rear wing ala F40 are striking. There are carbon fiber accents on the sides and open mesh at the rear for cooling. Inside, you'll find a combination of carbon-Kevlar, Charcoal Alcantara, and red technical fabric, giving a sporty and luxury feel.
The SC40 is not just a car, it's a masterpiece. It combines the nostalgia of the 1980s F40 with the most advanced Ferrari technology of today. Its design is currently on display at the Ferrari Museum for car enthusiasts to see this unique supercar.
