Apple has launched new products powered by the latest M5 chip. These include the iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and upgraded Vision Pro. It has faster AI, graphics, and better battery life. It's Apple's biggest leap since the first M1 chip.
The new iPad Pro now has a Ultra Retina XDR display in 11-inch and 13-inch. It has a M5 chip that is up to 3.5x faster in AI and 5.6x faster than M1. It has a 10-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, and higher memory bandwidth. It has Wi-Fi 7 and faster cellular connections. Prices start at ₱57,000 (previously $999) up to the model with 2TB storage and 16GB RAM.
MacBook Pro 14-inch also uses the M5 chip with up to 24 hours of battery life. Has a faster SSD and stronger graphics and AI. Prices start at ₱91,000 (previously $1,599), with storage options up to 4TB.
Vision Pro headset has a major upgrade from M2 to M5 chip. It has a new Dual Knit Band for greater comfort and comes with visionOS 26 with updated features such as new Personas and spatial apps. It comes with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage. Price starts at ₱205,000 (previously $3,499).
Apple's M5 lineup focuses on AI, performance, and battery efficiency, making the M5 the company's biggest chip upgrade yet. Pre-orders are now open and will be available worldwide starting October 22.
