A 34-year-old woman was found unconscious on an international flight and later died, forcing an emergency landing at Yellowknife Airport in Northwest Canada.
According to police, at around 9:45 a.m. on October 5, they received a report of an unconscious passenger. After the plane landed, the woman was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead despite the efforts of responders and emergency teams.
The incident is still being investigated with the assistance of the Coroner’s Service, and no further details regarding the identity of the victim have been released.
Earlier this year, there was a similar incident on a flight where a baby was born but stopped breathing and later died after being taken to the hospital.
