President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said his latest performance rating of 46% in the SWS survey was “nice” or encouraging, but he stressed that the government must continue to work for the people.
Based on a survey in June 2025, 46% of Filipinos are satisfied with his leadership. Meanwhile, 36% are dissatisfied. This is an increase of 8 points from April 2025, so his score is still in the “good” category.
During his visit to an evacuation site in Masbate after the devastation of Typhoon Opong, the President said that regardless of the situation — typhoon, scandal, or unrest — government services must continue at all levels.
He added that, as elected officials, the public should not see officials playing around or neglecting their duties, but rather continuing to work and help.
Overall, although the President is happy with the results, he stressed that the government's continued service and action is more important than any number.
