The story of brothers Peter and Trevor reunited after 58 years of separation. When Peter was a baby, just 10 weeks old, their mother ran away with Trevor to leave their father. But as the train was leaving Preston for London, their father arrived and snatched Peter from his mother's arms. Since then, the brothers have never seen each other again.
Peter, now 58 years old, grew up separated from his biological family. His father placed him in foster care and he grew up not knowing about his brother. When he was seven, he discovered he was adopted. That's when his search for Trevor began, but there were no clear answers for years.
A big change came when Peter's daughter Chloe helped search for Trevor. Through research, they discovered that Trevor was alive and living in London. But it was painful for Peter to learn that their mother had passed away in 2008. Despite this, his hope to see Trevor continued.
When they met, they both were moved to tears upon seeing each other. Both were surprised by how much they resembled each other. According to Trevor, before their mother took her life, she would always say “Find Peter.” So their meeting happened right on their mother’s birthday, which was like a special gift for her.
The brothers each drank a pint of beer to celebrate. Peter introduced his son and grandson to Trevor. When Peter saw the picture of their mother, he noticed that she resembled Chloe. For Trevor, their mother must have been proud that they had reunited. For Peter, it was the happiest moment of his life after a long wait.
