The Burgman Street 125 once again demonstrated its gas efficiency and comfort prowess in the EconoTour Luzon. In the 275-kilometer trip from Caloocan to Bolinao, Pangasinan, 136 riders successfully completed the route aboard the Standard and EX variants.
Despite the rain and varying road conditions, riders recorded an average fuel efficiency of 70 km/L. This is higher than the official rating of 54.9 km/L for the Standard and 56.8 km/L for the EX. Although it fell short of the previous record of 94.6 km/L, it remains one of the most fuel-efficient scooters in its class.
The event started at 3:00 AM in Caloocan and passed through Pampanga, Tarlac, and Alaminos before reaching Bolinao in the afternoon. Many riders attested to the comfortable ride, thanks to the Burgman Street's spacious floorboard, relaxed seat, and solid handling.
In terms of fuel economy, you can travel 70 kilometers on one liter of gasoline. If gasoline is at ₱65 per liter, a 275 km trip will only cost approximately ₱255—very affordable for a long ride.
EconoTour has proven that the Burgman Street is a true companion for Filipinos, from daily commutes to long-distance rides. This scooter combines practicality, economy, and comfort, which is why it continues to be loved by riders nationwide.
