The new brand Antigravity has announced the A1, the world's first drone with 8K 360-degree capture. It will be released in January 2026 and aims to provide a unique drone-flying experience using immersive goggles and grip controller.
The A1 has a dual-lens camera, one on top and one on bottom, to capture the entire surroundings without blind spots. Using Vision goggles and Grip controller with FreeMotion technology, the pilot can view 360 degrees while flying using just easy hand gestures.
Weighing just 249 grams, it meets regulatory requirements in most countries. According to Antigravity's Head of Marketing, their goal is to make flying safer, easier, and more creative for everyone.
The A1 can capture shots that you might not have noticed while flying, and a single take can be turned into multiple angles for greater creativity.
For those who want to try it out, Antigravity is inviting creatives from various countries to apply to receive a pre-production unit and share their ideas. No price has been announced yet, but it is expected to be around ₱75,000–₱85,000 based on similar models.
