The three dogs and a cat were found dead in Barangay Padu Grande, Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur this Saturday.
According to the owners, their pets were found foaming at the mouth and with a white liquid around where they were found. They suspect that the animals had swallowed or ingested poison.
The owners were deeply saddened and regretful at the loss of their pets, whom they considered part of the family.
They asked the authorities to immediately investigate the incident and hold anyone responsible accountable.
They also want to seek help from animal welfare groups to ensure that this kind of incident does not happen again in their area.
