The Office of the Vice President (OVP) is warning the public about a fake post on social media claiming to be giving away ₱10,000 ayuda or financial assistance.
According to the OVP, the circulating announcement is not true and is just a scam. The post even includes logos of government agencies and a picture of Vice President Sara Duterte to make it look legitimate.
The OVP clarified that they do not have such a program and that it is not part of any Duterte project. The public was also advised to be careful and not be fooled by this type of deception.
If you have information about those behind the fake announcement, immediately report it to the Philippine National Police to prevent the spread of false information.
