A female rider was run over by a truck after falling into a pothole in Plaridel, Bulacan. The accident occurred at around 8:40 a.m. on August 9 when she tried to overtake a truck on a bumpy road.
The victim, identified as Loi, a resident of Barangay Malibong Matanda, reportedly lost control of his motorcycle and fell off the road.
The truck was carrying the driver, Jun, from Talavera, Nueva Ecija. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital but unfortunately, he lost his life. The driver is currently in custody and facing charges.
