
masked thieves stole nearly P397,000 worth of the popular Labubu dolls from a toy store in La Puente, California. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning at a store located 18 miles east of Los Angeles.
According to police, four suspects wearing hoodies and masks were seen entering the store based on CCTV footage. They can be seen taking boxes and rummaging through merchandise before leaving. The suspects allegedly used a stolen Toyota Tacoma, which was later recovered by authorities.
According to the store owner, the thieves took all their merchandise and left the place in a mess. They are appealing to the public to help them find the perpetrators. The investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is ongoing.
Labubu is a character from The Monsters toy series known for its unique design and colorful appearance. It usually costs from ₱600 to almost ₱11,000 depending on the model. It is popular with many collectors and even some famous personalities in the Philippines and around the world.
