More than ₱500,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated from 6 individuals in separate buy-bust operations by the police in San Mateo, Rizal.
The first operation was conducted at around 10 p.m. in Barangay Sto. Niño, where two men, ages 28 and 31, were arrested. 7 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 40 grams and worth ₱285,600 were seized from them.
Following this, at 1 a.m., another operation was conducted in Barangay Banaba. 4 more suspects were arrested and more than 40 grams of shabu worth ₱286,960 were seized.
Various drug paraphernalia such as weighing scale, plastic sachet, aluminum foil, lighter, cellphone, and buy-bust money were also recovered.
All suspects are currently in police custody and will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
