The MRT-3 will provide free rides every Wednesday in August for passengers with National ID. According to the Department of Transportation (DOTr), this will be held on August 6, 13, 20, and 27.
Free rides from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM only.
This program aims to expand the use of the National ID for faster and easier transactions, especially in public services.
You may present a physical copy of your National ID, the printed paper version, or digital copy to enter the service gate and get a free ride.
This initiative is part of the government's campaign to make the National ID more useful in the daily lives of Filipinos.
