
American Idol executive Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca were found dead in their Los Angeles home. According to a report by Variety, they were both 70 years old and were found with gunshot wounds.
According to the show's spokesperson, Kaye has been a long-time part of the Idol family since 2009. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Robin and Tom. She was loved and respected by everyone in the industry. She will live on in our memories.”
Police responded to a call for a "welfare check" after their relatives had not been able to contact the couple for several days. Upon inspection of the home, Kaye and Deluca were found dead from gunshot wounds.
The suspect was identified as Raymond Boodarian. According to the investigation, he may have entered the house through an unlocked door. A confrontation reportedly occurred when the couple returned home, which resulted in the shooting.
Kaye is a well-known music supervisor and has also been part of shows like Lip Sync Battle. He also served as vice president of the Guild of Music Supervisors. His wife Deluca is also a musician and songwriter.
