Adidas Originals and Bad Bunny have once again collaborated for the “Gazelle City Series” as a tribute to Puerto Rico. It includes three colorways inspired by famous places on the island: El Yunque, Santurce, and Cabo Rojo. This is in line with his concert residency “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” in his hometown from July 11 to September 14, with 30 shows.
“El Yunque” is a deep green color, reflecting the beauty and richness of the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. It is a symbol of the deep connection between nature and Puerto Rico's culture.
“Santurce” is orange, reflecting the area’s vibrant and colorful art scene—from dance, music, and art. It’s a tribute to the creativity and life of the community.
“Cabo Rojo” is pink in color, inspired by the area’s pink salt flats. It is a reminder of Puerto Rico’s natural beauty even after disasters like Hurricane Maria. It also features the island’s elderly residents who symbolize the island’s history and spirit.
Overall, the Gazelle City Series is Bad Bunny's love letter to his hometown. It shows his pride in his roots, and the message of "I don't want to leave here."
