The Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been officially launched in the Philippines by Motociclista Scatola Incorporated (MSI). It is the bigger version of the popular Classic 350 and is set to be loved by Filipino riders as well. With a starting price of ₱429,000, it also comes with a 3-year unlimited warranty.
It measures 2,318mm long, 892mm wide, and 1,137mm high. It weighs 243kg and has a fuel tank of 14.8 liters. Its retro style is highlighted — from the LED headlamp, saddle seat, teardrop fuel tank, and peashooter exhausts, to the curved fenders and analog gauge.
For performance, it comes with a 648cc parallel twin engine with 46.3 hp and 52.3 Nm torque, the same as those found in the Bear 650, Interceptor, and Super Meteor. It has a six-speed gearbox and Showa suspension that ensures a smooth ride.
The new Classic 650 is available in Vallam Red (₱429K), Teal Green (₱435K), and Black Chrome (₱445K). As Royal Enfield Asia Pacific Head Anuj Dua says, this model is a “double measure” of classic style and modern performance, so it is sure to impress the hearts of riders in the country.
